Getting Started with a qbModCon construction

9 simple steps to follow:

1: Look over what we have

Take look at this website and our brochure then talk to us about designs that suit your requirements. We have designers and practical consultants who are able to assist you in selecting the most effective design to suit your needs and budget.

2: Decide on your budget

Call us, we can help you develop a realistic budget so you know how much you will need in order to approach your bank or lending authority.

3: Decision to commence

When you are ready to have our designers commence the drawings of your new qbModCom home, an initial investment of $2500 is required. This payment provides you with an initial consultation and a site survey which becomes your property irrespective of whether you continue on with a qbModCon home.

This detailed document determines accurate dimensions of your block; site works if required, home positioning recommendations and alternatives, access paths and driveways and their gradients, water, sewarage, drainage and Telstra cable positions.

4: Handover of drawings

When you decide to go ahead, within ten business days you will receive your plans and preliminary working documentation for your new qbModCon home. When you have carefully reviewed these documents and discussed with qbModCon we are ready to give the order to place you home in our manufacturing queue. Also included is an illustrated customised assembly manual and CD with instructions for you, the DIY registered home builder or you can elect to use a qbModCon trained and contracted assembler team. A further $2500 is required at this stage.

5: Final Quotation

When you have approved the working drawings you will receive an itemised contract with the full details and a final price.

6: Complete the paperwork

Formally approve our paperwork which includes contractual documents, fixed price quotation confirmation and full working drawings. 50% of the contract price is now due at this stage. qbModCon will now confirm the order with your final choice of colours and any additional fit-out items. You can now complete engineering submissions and all the necessary council approvals.

7: Production is underway

Your qbModCon is on the production line. We are now ready to commence manufacturing your home. This can take up to 5 weeks.

8: Final payment due

On our written notification that your qbModCon home is 30 days from completion you will be required to pay the contract sum balance.

9: Ready to deliver

Having agreed on transportation, your complete qbModCon home will now be delivered to your site.
