Unlike conventional modular housing that requires specialist and costly transport, qbModCon is much the same as the familiar flat pack furniture that has become a staple "pack 'n go" format around the world. Following the assembly of the steel framed floor, (4 people) every item in the qbModCon inventory is designed to be lifted easily by two people. This means that with a team of just 3-4, your qbModCon home will be fully assembled to lock up in just 5 days on your site.

 Are these really 'just' kit homes?

No, not at all. A kit home can best be described as a "Bill of Materials" for a conventional framed house. In normal practice you can expect to double the kit price to construct and add in the the components that are not a part of the kit. qbModCon is an in-factory assembled Component House that is then re-assembled on site ..... in just 5 days. So the on site labour content requires a team of 3-4 assemblers or handymen for 5 days to lock-up. A big difference in final cost and finish from a standard Kit Home!

Gentle Footprint 

With such a small crew on-site for just a few days, and the fact there is no cutting or scraps to take care of, qbModCon homes are in place with a minimum of disturbance. Unlike normal building which has lots of delivery people and tradesman coming and going over weeks and weeks, that land you most admired will be preserved with virtually no cleanup required.
